Hello! I'm Marshall
and I use she/her & they/them pronouns.

What I do & learn from Reiki, life & service:

  • Reiki Practitioner (Master Level) with additional certification in Animal Reiki, affiliated with IARP: International Association of Reiki Practitioners (2017-present)

  • Interfaith/Interspiritual Minister, ordained after 2 year program of study at One Spirit Interfaith Seminary (2021-present)

  • Animal Chaplain and Program Coordinator of Compassion Consortium's Animal Chaplaincy Training Program (2022-present)

  • Former Group Facilitator for Asheville Survivors of Suicide Loss (2018-2023)

  • Former NC Chapter Board Member of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (2017-2022)

My special areas of focus are with Animal Reiki, Reiki for Caregivers, Reiki for Grief (from loss or trauma) and Reiki for Recovery. I offer an affordable remote program through Rad Reiki & Patreon that allow people to have Reiki sent monthly to themselves, their animal companions and sponsor their loved ones.

My experience since 2017 has demonstrated Reiki to be a powerful tool that comes in a gentle form. I happen to think Reiki challenges the "no pain, no gain" philosophy. Yet, it is not numbing to the recipient. Reiki offers a unique and often subtle experience to each individual recipient and encourages guided self-healing processes through a deep restful state.

Reiki honors the user's way of life and natural energy flow. Explanation or understanding of one's inner process is not required or even necessary.

I love working with our local community, with animals and folks (and animal folks!) around the world. I am honored and grateful to be doing this work and I am listening deeply as my work in the world evolves.

In warmth and joy,

Marshall
